Full-arch dental implants (All-on-6)
When your upper or lower teeth can no longer be saved, the whole arch can be replaced with a fixed prosthesis screwed onto 5 or 6 implants. You do not take it out at night and it does not move when you eat, as a denture does.
You may know it as All-on-4: same idea. The number of implants (4, 5 or 6) is decided with the 3D CT scan, based on each patient's bone.

Who is it for?
- Fractured or heavily worn teeth that can no longer be restored.
- Dentures that no longer fit or hurt.
- Years without dental care and several missing teeth in the same arch.
The stages
- Planning. Scan, 3D CT and final smile design. How an implant is planned →
- Surgery. Teeth that cannot be saved are removed and the implants are placed. For long procedures, the team anesthesiologist is with you.
- Temporary teeth. You leave with temporary teeth, worn for 4 to 6 months while the implants heal.
- Prototype. Before the final prosthesis a prototype is tried in: a preview of your final teeth.
- Final arch. The shade is chosen and the final arch is placed.
Frequently asked questions
How many implants does a full arch need?
Usually 5 or 6, depending on the bone and the prosthesis design. It is decided with the 3D CT scan.
Will I leave surgery without teeth?
No. You leave with a temporary prosthesis, worn while the implants heal, usually 4 to 6 months.
Is the prosthesis removable?
No. It is screwed onto the implants; only the doctor removes it at checkups.
